The Evelyn Broadwood Scholarship

Established in 1948 and endowed by Captain E H T Broadwood MC (Master 1953-1954). A annual award available to first and second year students of instrument technology in industry, or at an educational establishment. Can be awarded for up to two years in succession.

Very little information is available on Past Winners, although the Court Minutes do record that the Prize was awarded to Mr George Moir in 1992 and again in 1993. In 1994 the Prize went to Mr Clive Wallace.

In 2003 the Court was told "....The Broadwood prize has existed for about 50 years but has been in abeyance for the last 30 years". Not quite true apparently, but at this stage, new proposals for the future of the Prize were drawn up. The Prize in that year (2003) was awarded to Mr Christopher Lee
