This privately sponsored award was presented annually in 2001-2017. It was administered by the Company in conjunction with the Allcard awards for postgraduate study (now the Musicians' Company Fund). The prize value was determined annually and awarded after auditions from students nominated by the various Music Colleges and Conservatoires.
